Graphics International Group - A Short History
Established in 1981
Graphics International Group (GIG) is formed by founder
Michael Merrick.
1985
GIG supplies RS 37 screen printers shipped across North America
1987
GIG sells the Novax screen printer.
1988
Novax M was designed and developed jointly by Owens Illinois and GIG.
1989
GIG moves to 33,000 square foot facility at 110 Travail Road
1999
Manufacturing, tooling and machine rebuilding division of GIG, SM Graphics Manufacturing, shows at SGIA in Las Vegas.
2002
Sale of 1000th Screen Printer.
2005
GIG sells Canadian designed and assembled automatic screen printers.
2009
Long-time employees who provided 30+ years of service.
2018
GIG exhibits at 11th National Plastics Exhibition (NPE).
GIG exhibited at NPE at all the following years: 1988, 1991, 1994, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2012, 2015, 2018, 2021. (The 2021 NPE is cancelled due to the global pandemic.)
